Add content to inSync Share folder on your laptop
To add files and folders to the inSync Share folder on your laptop
- Access your inSync Share folder. For more information, see Access the inSync Share folder on your laptop.
- (Optional) Select the folder where you want to add content.
- Copy or create files and folders.
Add content to inSync Share by using inSync Web
To add files and folders to inSync Share by using inSync Web
- Open inSync Web. The inSync Share page appears.
- If you want to, you can add a folder to inSync Share. For more information, see Add a folder to inSync Share .
If you want to, you can upload files to inSync Share. For more information, see Upload a file to inSync Share.
Add a folder to inSync Share
To add a folder
- (Optional) In the All Content tab, select the folder where you want to add content.
- Click Create Folder. The Create Folder window appears.
- In the Folder Name box, type the name of the folder.
- Click Create.
Upload a file to inSync Share
To upload a file
- In the All Content tab, click Upload Files. The Upload Files window appears.
- Click the Click here to select files link.
- Browse to the location of the file and select the file. The file is added to the Upload Files window.
- Click Upload and then click Close.
Note:
- You can queue files for upload. The inSync client upload these files sequentially.
- You must not close inSync Web during an upload. Closing inSync Web cancels all queued requests.
- You cannot upload a file that is larger than 300 MB.
- You cannot upload a folder.
- If your laptop cannot connect to inSync Master, file upload stops temporarily. You must not close inSync Web because uploads resume after internet connectivity is reinstated.
