inSync Client Restore User Interface Enhancements

Overview

Druva is pleased to announce a new and intuitive User Interface (UI) for the data restore activity performed using the inSync Client. The new UI will be available to users of inSync Client version 6.0.1 and later and is scheduled for inSync Cloud Update on December 8, 2018.

The following sections highlight the enhancements to the Restore UI: 

Snapshot Listing

1.png Enhanced Snapshots selection window that groups and displays all the available snapshots based on date and time, to quickly browse and select the desired snapshot for restore.

Configured Folder Details

1.pngA new column, Original Location, that displays the backup path of the configured folders on the user device.

1.pngDisplays the last modification details under the files and folders.

Files and Folders Listing

1.pngEnhanced tree view, that lists the folders, sub-folders, and files, to quickly browse and select for restore.

1.pngReturn to the configured folders page by clicking the snapshot.

Search Results Window

1.pngA new column, Original Location, that displays the backup path of the search results.

1.pngEnables the selection of multiple files and folders for restore.

1.pngDisplays the total number of backed up versions of the files and folders.

1.pngOption to select a particular version of the files and folders for restore.

Custom Location
