Update the language preference

Overview

When you select your preferred language in the Restore Backup Data window, the content of the Restore Backup Data window appears in the appropriate language. However, the files and folder names do not get translated to the language that you selected.

For example:

The language on the Restore Backup Data window is in English (EN). The folder and file names are in English. You update the language of the Restore Backup Data window to French (FR). The language of the Restore Backup Data window is updated to French. However, folder and file names continue to appear in English.

Note: If you change the language of the Restore Backup Data window, the content of the inSync Web interface is also updated accordingly.

Procedure

To update the language preference

  1. Start the inSync client.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Backup & Restore.
  3. In the right pane, click Restore. The Restore Backup Data window appears.
  4. On the upper-right corner of the Restore Backup Data window, click your preferred language. The display of the Restore Backup Data window appears in the language that you selected.
