Upgrade the inSync client

Overview

This topic explains how you can upgrade the inSync client to the latest version.

The following table lists the upgrade instructions for the inSync client installed on Windows, Mac, and Linux laptops.

Operating System	Upgrade Instructions
Windows	Install the inSync client 5.4.1 over the existing inSync client version. Restart your laptop. See, Install and activate the inSync client.
Mac	Install the inSync client 5.4.1 over the existing inSync client version. Restart your laptop. See, Install and activate the inSync client.
Linux	Uninstall the previous version of the inSync client from your laptop. Do not remove configuration details and the inSync Share folder. Install inSync 5.4.1. Restart your laptop. See, Install and activate the inSync client.
