This topic explains how to modify a back up folder and how to remove a back up folder.
Note: You can modify or remove backup folders only if the inSync administrator has assigned you the rights to modify the backup folders.
Changing the files and folders being backed up from a folder
When selecting a folder, you may have excluded certain files or folders that you now want to include. To change the files and folders being backed up from a backup folder.
- On the Summary page, click the folder that you want to modify. The Edit Backup Folder window appears.
- Select the files and folders that you want to include; clear the files and folders that you want to exclude.
- Click Save.
Removing a backup folder
Note: You cannot remove the backup folders that the inSync administrator has added and has tagged as mandatory.
To remove a backup folder
- On the Summary page click the folder that you want to remove. The Edit Backup Folder window appears.
- Click Delete Backup Folder.
