Troubleshooting connection to inSync server

Testing connection to inSync server

If inSync client cannot connect to inSync server, backups do not complete. If you encounter a failed backup, test the connection to your organization's inSync server. Alternatively, test your network settings. If you continue to encounter backup failures, contact your administrator. 

 

To test the connection to inSync server

  1. On the Summary window, click the More Details link.
  2. Click Troubleshoot Connection.
 This button is enabled when a backup fails.

 

The Troubleshoot Connection window appears.
