Configuring CPU Priority for Backup
Overview
Explains what the feature is or what its benefits are to the user or customer.
Changing CPU priority
Your administrator assigns CPU priority to inSync bacups. If backups are assigned a low CPU priority, the speed of backup backup is slow. If backups are assigned a high CPU priority, backup speed is fast, but the performance of other active applications on your computer might suffer.
You can change the CPU priority provided your administrator assigns appropriate permissions to you.
To change the CPU priority
- On the Summary window, click Preferences.
- Under Resources, move the CPU priority slider to reflect the CPU priority assigned to backups.
- Click Save.
