Update your inSync account password

Overview

If your inSync password is different than single sign-on or AD password, you can change your inSync password.

Update your password using inSync client

To update your password using inSync client

  1. Start the inSync client.
  2. On the navigation pane, click My Account.
  3. In the Account area, click Change. The Change Password window appears.
  4. In the New Password box, type the new password.
  5. In the Confirm Password box, type the new password again.
  6. Click Save.

Update your password by using inSync Web

You must have inSync Share installed to update your inSync account password by using inSync Web.

To update your password by using inSync Web

  1. Open inSync Web.
  2. On the upper-right corner of the inSync Web portal, click My Account.
  3. In the Account Information area, click Change Password. The Change Password window appears.
  4. In the Old Password box, type your current password.
  5. In the Enter new password box, type your new password.
  6. In the Confirm new password box, type your new password again.
  7. Click Change Password.
