Updating the inSync license

Overview

This topic explains the procedure for updating inSync license. 

When to update inSync license

You must update the inSync license when:

  • You want to use inSync beyond the 30-day evaluation period.
  • Your inSync license is about to expire.
  • You decide to add or remove the add-on functionalities.

Updating the license

This section contains instructions for updating your inSync license. 

Step 1: Acquiring the inSync license file

To acquire the inSync license file

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage > Settings.
  2. Click the inSync License tab.
  3. Take a snapshot of the License Summary area and email it to support@druva.com.

The Druva support team will send a license for your inSync setup. Save the license file after you receive it. 

Step 2: Loading the inSync license file

To load the inSync license file

  1. On the inSync Admin Console menu bar, click Manage > Settings.
  2. Click the inSync License tab.
  3. Click Load License and select the license file that you have saved on your computer.

Your inSync license is updated.
