This section contains instructions for configuring data to be backed up from laptops.

About configuring data for backup

Many large organizations recognize how critical laptop backup is. There are various ways that enables you to configure data for backup. You can configure folders for backup and make it mandatory for the users to backup these folders. Users cannot exclude folders that are marked as mandatory from backup. You can configure different email client for backup. You can exclude certain paths or files or folders from backup. You can also allow users to configure backup folders themselves. Once configured, inSync automatically backs up data from laptops at preset intervals.

Note: This functionality is managed through profiles and not at an individual user level.
