Deleting an AD Mapping

About deleting an AD mapping

When deleting an AD Mapping, you can choose to:

  • Delete just the AD mapping. All users created using the AD mapping will continue to use inSync.
  • Delete the AD mapping and disable all users that were created using the AD mapping.
  • Delete the AD mapping and delete all users that were created using the AD mapping.

Procedure

To delete an AD mapping

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage > AD Mappings.
  2. Select the AD mapping you want to delete and click Delete
  3. Click the delete option based on your requirements:
  • If you just want to delete the AD mapping, click Delete Mapping Only.
  • If you want to delete the AD mapping and disable all users created through it, click Delete Mapping and Disable Users.
  • If you want to delete the AD mapping and delete all users created through it, click Delete Mapping and Delete Users.
  1. Click Yes to confirm your action.
