When do you run a recovery?
You might encounter scenarios when the status of your storage changes to "Unhealthy". This happens when the storage database is unable to start. This could be due to multiple reasons, including but not limited to, unclean server shutdown, issues with physical storage, inconsistent database files, and corrupt log files. In such scenarios, run storage recovery.
Note: You can perform this action only when the storage is unhealthy. If the status of your storage does not change to "Healthy", contact Druva Support for troubleshooting assistance.
To recover a storage
- On the menu bar, click Manage > Storage.
- Under the Storage List tab, select the unhealthy storage.
- Click Start Recovery.
