Before you begin, make sure that you have created an email account that can be used by the inSync server and have the SMTP details for that email account.
To configure an email account
- On the menu bar, click Manage > Settings.
- Click the Email tab.
- Under Email Setup, click Edit.
- Enter the following details:
- SMTP server: Enter the SMTP server address for the email ID.
- SMTP port: Enter the port that SMTP server uses. The default value is 25.
- SMTP username: Enter the email ID the Master server uses.
- SMTP password: Enter the password for the email account.
- User secure connection: Select if TLS/SSL is required for email communication.
- Click Save.
