Server Diagnostics

Overview

This topic explains server diagnostics and contains instructions for downloading server diagnostic details and server logs.

About server diagnostics

Server diagnostics is a set of files that contains a record of inSync server activities. If you encounter an issue while working with your inSync Server, you can download the server diagnostics files. These files contain details about server activities and exception behaviors. Server diagnostics and log files help better troubleshoot an issue.

Note: If you encounter an issue that you cannot troubleshoot, share the server diagnostics and log files with the Druva Support team. 

Downloading server diagnostic details

To download server diagnostics

  1. On the menu bar, click Reporting > Diagnostics.
  2. In the Server Diagnostics area, select a profile from the Profile drop-down menu.
  3. Select users from the Users drop-down menu for whom you want to generate the server diagnostics.
  4. Click Save Server Diagnostics.

The server diagnostics zip file is downloaded to your computer.

Downloading server logs

To download server logs

  1. On the menu bar, click Reporting > Diagnostics.
  2. In the Server Logs area, click Download Server Logs.

The server logs are downloaded to your computer as a zip file.
