Co-branding inSync client

Overview

This topic explains how you can customize inSync client to display your company name and logo.

Understanding co-branding

You can customize inSync client so that your organization's logo and name appear on the client interface. When you co-brand inSync client, you can:

  • Add your company name and logo on the inSync client interface.
  • Provide a link to custom help files that you created for inSync users. This link supersedes the default link to inSync client help.
  • Add contact information of your internal support team.

Adding your logo and company name

Before you begin: Make sure that you have a copy of the logo on the inSync server. The image file must match the following criteria:

  • Dimension: 40x40 pixels
  • Size: 32 KB (maximum)
  • Format: PNG

To add your logo and company name

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage > Settings. 
  2. Under the Co-branding tab, click Edit. The Edit Settings window appears.
  3. Enter the following details:
    • In the Company name box, enter the name of your company. The name should not be more than 50 characters long.
    • In the Company logo box, select your company's logo.
  4. Click Save.

Adding links to custom help files

Before you begin: Create custom help files for inSync users and upload it to a shared location or on your intranet.

To add links to custom help files

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage > Settings.
  2. Under the Co-branding tab, click Edit. The Edit Settings window appears.
  3. In the Help link for user box, enter the URL to the custom help file.
  4. Click Save.

Adding support contact information

To add support contact information

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage > Settings.
  2. Under the Co-branding tab, click Edit. The Edit Settings window appears.
  3. In the Support contact information box, enter the contact details of your support team.
  4. Click Save.
