Using your own SSL certificate on the Storage Node

Note: If you have decided to load your own SSL certificate on the Master Server, you must load the same SSL certificate on all the storage nodes.

Before you begin: Obtain an SSL certificate from a Certificate Authority and export it without the private key to a folder on your computer. Use a .pem certificate.

To load an SSL certificate

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage > Storage.
  2. Under Storage Nodes tab, click the storage node to modify.
  3. In the Advanced Options area, click Edit. The Edit Storage Node window appears.

  4. In the SSL Certificate field, select the certificate that you want to load.
  5. Click Save.
