Storage Node Details page

Overview

This topic explains the Storage Node Details page in-detail.

General Information

The following table describes the fields in the General Information area:

Field Description
Storage node name The name of the storage node.
Backup & sync port The port number over which users will back up or synchronize data with inSync server.
User web access port The port number over which users can access inSync web.
SSL Certificate The SSL certificate used to secure the communication with the storage node.

IP Address or FQDN Configuration

The following table describes the fields in the IP Address or FQDN Configuration area:

Field Description
IP or FQDN The list of IP addresses or fully qualified domain names required to access the storage node.
Network Type The type of network. It indicates if an IP address or FQDN will be used to access the storage node when the users are on a LAN or WAN. AUTO indicates that inSync decides if the IP address or FQDN will be used under LAN or WAN.  In such cases, any connection with 20 ms or more TTL is considered as a WAN-based connection.
Primary The primary IP address or FQDN.
