Server Diagnostics

Overview

This topic explains server diagnostics and contains instructions on how to download server diagnostic details and how to download server logs.

About server diagnostics

Server diagnostics and logs help you to investigate and analyze any issue with your inSync setup. When faced with an issue, you can download the server diagnostics and logs and analysis them to find the root cause of the issue. When you approach the Druva support team with your issue, they too will require your server diagnostics and log files to analyze the problem and recommend a solution.

Downloading server diagnostic details

To download server diagnostics

  1. On the menu bar, click Reporting > Diagnostics.
  2. Under Server Diagnostics tab, select a profile from the Profile drop-down menu and select users from the Users drop-down menu for whom you want to generate the server diagnostics.
  3. Click Save Server Diagnostics.

The server diagnostics is downloaded on your computer as a zip file.

Downloading server logs

To download server logs

  1. On the menu bar, click Reporting > Diagnostics.
  2. Under Server Logs tab, click Download Server Logs.

The server logs are downloaded on your computer as a zip file.
