Co-branding inSync client

Overview

This topic explains how to apply your own organization's branding on inSync client. 

About co-branding

You can customize inSync client to apply your organization's branding on it. inSync users can view the customizations when they open inSync. When co-branding inSync client, you can make the following changes:

  • Add your company name and logo on the inSync client interface.
  • Provide a link to custom help files that you have created for inSync users. This link will override the default link to inSync client help provided by Druva.
  • Add contact information of your internal support team. inSync users in your organization can then contact your internal support team to resolve their queries.

Adding your own logo and company name to inSync client

Before you begin: Copy the logo of your company on your computer. The logo must match the following criteria:

  • Dimension: 40x40 pixels
  • Size: 32 KB (maximum)
  • Format: PNG  

 

To add your company name and logo

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage > Settings.
  2. Click the Co-Branding tab.
  3. Click Edit. The Co-Branding window appears.

  4. Enter the following details:
    • In the Company name field, enter the name of your company. The name should be less than 50 characters.
    • In the Company logo field, browse and select your company's logo.
  5. Click Save.

Adding link to custom help files for inSync users

Before you begin: Create custom help files for inSync users and upload it to a shared location or on your intranet.

 

To add link to custom help files

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage > Settings.
  2. Click the Co-Branding tab.
  3. Click Edit. The Co-Branding window appears.
  4. In the Help link for user field, add the URL to the custom help file.
  5. Click Save.

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage > Settings.
  2. Click the Co-Branding tab.
  3. Click Edit. The Co-Branding window appears.
  4. In the Support contact information field, add the URL to the custom help file.
  5. Click Save.
