Updating inSync license

Overview

This topic explains the procedure for updating inSync license. 

When to update inSync license

You must update the inSync license when:

  • You want to use inSync beyond the 30 day evaluation period.
  • Your inSync license is about to expire.
  • You decide the add or remove the add-on functionalities of inSync.
  • You decide to upgrade from one edition of inSync to another.

Procedure

Step 1: Acquiring the inSync license file

To acquire the inSync license file

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage > Settings.
  2. Click the inSync License tab.
  3. Take a snapshot of the License Summary area and email it to support@druva.com.

The Druva support team will generate the license file for your inSync deployment and email it to you. The license will be for the inSync features that your organization has purchased.

Step 2: Loading the inSync license file

To load the inSync license file

  1. Save the license file that you received from the Druva support team on your computer.
  2. On the inSync Admin Console menu bar, click Manage > Settings.
  3. Click the inSync License tab.
  4. Click Load License and select the license file that you have saved on your computer.

Your inSync license is updated.
