Setting up device protection allows your inSync administrator to trace your device when it is lost or stolen. If your inSync administrator enabled Device Protection feature for you, you must enable location services on your device after you log on to the inSync mobile app.
To enable device protection services
- On the inSync mobile app menu bar, tap. A list with additional options appears.
- Tap my account.
- In the Device Protection area, tap Services. A message appears that prompts you to enable the location services.
- If you want to enable the location services for your device, tap ok. The location screen appears. Tap to turn on Location Services.
If you do not want to enable the location services for your device, tap the left arrow on the Windows device to go back to the My Account view.
Note: The inSync mobile app prompts you to enable the location services for your Windows phone each time you open the inSync mobile app.
