If your inSync administrator enabled the Use Cellular Data feature for you, the inSync mobile app uses your cellular data connectivity for backup operations when a wireless connection is not available.
If your inSync administrator did not enable the Use Cellular Data feature for you, the inSync mobile app backs up your data only when your device is connected to a wireless connection.
Note: If there is no cellular data or wireless connectivity available, an ongoing backup will immediately pause. The inSync mobile app will resume the backup operation when your mobile device reconnects to a cellular data or wireless connection.
To use cellular data connectivity for backup operations
- On the inSync mobile app sidebar, tap Settings.
- Tap Backup.
- In the Preferences area, turn on Use Cellular Data.
