The Overview page provides you a more comprehensive view of all the configured Microsoft 365 apps at a glance.

Access Path

On the inSync Management Console menu bar, click Data Sources > Microsoft 365. An overview page that provides a holistic view of all the configured Microsoft 365 apps appears.

The following information is displayed on the Overview page:

Component Description
Summary
App-wise size distribution

The number in the center of the pie chart displays the total size of backed up data for configured Microsoft 365 apps. Also, displays a percentage value of data backup for each Microsoft 365 apps - Exchange Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

Note: The ~ symbol is displayed if the  percentage value  is  in decimal. For example, if the percent value is 0.1%, it is displayed as ~0%.

Hover over the pie chart to view the data size distribution of specific configured Microsoft 365 apps.

App Status

Displays the status of your configured Microsoft 365 apps.

  • Connected: Microsoft 365 app is configured and connected.
  • Not Connected: Microsoft 365 app connection was configured but got disconnected due to some technical issues. Reconfigure Microsoft 365 app to re-establish the connection.
Last Configured Displays the date and timestamp of the last successful configuration.
Configured Microsoft 365 apps
Exchange Online

If you have configured Exchange Online, you can view the following details:

  • The total number of user mailboxes protected
  • The total backup size of data protected within Exchange Online
  • The last backup status, a pie-chart that provides you information about the following:
    • Number of successful backups
    • Number of failed backups
    • Number of  backups with errors
    • Failed backup count

You can click on the number of user mailboxes to navigate to the Exchange Online details page.

OneDrive

If you have configured OneDrive, you can view the following details:

  • The total number of users protected
  • The total backup size of data protected within OneDrive
  • The last backup status, a pie-chart that provides you information about the following:
    • Number of successful backups
    • Number of failed backups
    • Number of  backups with errors
    • Failed backup count

You can click on the number of users to navigate to the OneDrive details page.

SharePoint

If you have configured SharePoint, you can view the following details:

  • The total number of sites protected
  • The total backup size of data protected within SharePoint
  • The last backup status, a pie-chart that provides you information about the following:
    • Number of successful backups
    • Number of failed backups
    • Number of  backups with errors
    • Failed backup count

You can click on the number of sites to navigate to the SharePoint details page.

Teams

If you have configured Teams, you can view the following details:

  • The total number of Teams protected
  • The total backup size of data protected within Teams
  • The total backup status, a pie-chart that provides you information about the following:
    • Number of successful backups
    • Number of failed backups
    • Number of  backups with errors
    • Failed backup count

You can click on the number of Teams to navigate to the SharePoint details page.

Actions ​​​​​

You can perform the following actions on the Overview page.

Action Description
Re-Configure Click Re-Configure to reconfigure Microsoft 365 app
Settings Click Settings to update the user account access settings. For more information, see Configure user account access settings.
Verify  Click Verify to verify the Microsoft 365 configuration.
