inSync Cloud Editions: File:/tick.png Elite Plus File:/tick.png Elite File:/cross.png Enterprise File:/cross.png Business

Overview

An inSync cloud administrator can restore the user data that is backed up from Google Drive.

You can restore the data backed up from Google Drive to a user's device. If the user has multiple devices, you can choose the device on which you want to restore the Google Drive data. However, you cannot restore G Suite data to a mobile device, or restore another endpoint's data to a Google Drive account.

You can restore Google Drive data to the following locations on the user's device:

  • On the user's desktop
  • On a custom location of your choice

Procedure

To restore emails, contacts, and calendar to G Suite

It ensures that the restored data is available for future reference and business continuity and can be retrieved in case of accidental deletion or malicious activities.  inSync also allows you to do selective restores for emails, calendars, and contacts.
