Enable inSync Share for users

inSync Cloud Editions: File:/tick.png Elite Plus File:/tick.png Elite File:/tick.png Enterprise File:/tick.png Business

Overview

Using inSync Share, users can perform the following tasks:

  • Share files and folders between their devices and other inSync users. As an inSync administrator, you can enable inSync Share for a group of users that belong to the same profile.
  • Specify the number of file versions that you want inSync to retain in the inSync Share folder. By default, inSync retains up to 20 versions of a file.
  • Share data with any other inSync Share user in your organization. As an inSync administrator, you can restrict the group of people with whom a user can share data. For example, you can restrict users of the Finance profile to share data only with people from the Admin and HR profiles.
Note: You can enable inSync Share for users through profiles. You cannot do this on an individual user level.
