Reactivate Customers

Overview

An MSP license can be reactivated after it has expired. The administrator can reactivate an expired customer account within 30 days of suspension. If not reactivated, after 30 days the expired customer's account details will be deleted. The reactivated customer will be removed from the Inactive Customer list.

MSP administrators assigned access to edit customers can reactivate Evaluation and Commercial customers directly themselves.

Reactivate an Evaluation customer

  1. On the inSync MSP Console menu bar, click Customers. The Manage Customers page is displayed.
  2. On the Manage Customers > Evaluation select the expired customer whose account needs to be reactivated.
  1. Click Edit. On the Edit Customer Details page, under License & Edition, the License Expiry date is displayed and license cannot be extended any further.
    Even Trial duration for an expired Evaluation customer cannot be extended. To reactivate the evaluation customer contact Druva.

Reactivate a Commercial customer

  1. On the inSync MSP Console menu bar, click Customers. The Manage Customers page is displayed.
  2. On the Manage Customers > Commercial select the expired customer whose account needs to be reactivated.
  3. Click Edit. On the Edit Customer Details page, under License & Edition,  select the new License Expiry date.  Click Next.
  4. A request email containing all details specific to the upgrade is sent to the following recipients:

Once the upgrade request is processed, the License State of the commercial customer will change to Active.

Reactivate customer directly  

An MSP administrator assigned access to create new customers or edit, suspend or reactivate existing customers. This access is granted to the MSP when the MSP is created.

Reactivate an Evaluation customer

  1. On the inSync MSP Console menu bar, click Customers. The Manage Customers page is displayed.
  2. On the Manage Customers > Evaluation select the expired customer whose account needs to be reactivated.
  1. Click Edit. On the Edit Customer Details page, under License & Edition, the License Expiry date is displayed and license cannot be extended any further.
    Even Trial duration for an expired Evaluation customer cannot be extended. To reactivate the evaluation customer contact Druva.

Reactivate a Commercial customer

  1. On the inSync MSP Console menu bar, click Customers. The Manage Customers page is displayed.
  2. On the Manage Customers > Commercial select the expired customer whose account needs to be reactivated.
  3. Click Edit. On the Edit Customer Details page, under License & Edition,  select the new License Expiry date.  Click Next.

    The new license is valid for 30 days by default and can be extended up to 3 years.
  4. Under the Add-on Details tab, edit  the required Add-ons details and click Next. The  Terms and Conditions  window is displayed. Click Accept to complete editing the Commercial Customer information. 
  5. The license will be updated successfully and the License State will be displayed as Active.
