Suspend a Customer Account

Overview

An MSP administrator can suspend Evaluation as well as a Commercial customer account. The customer license will expire on the day of suspension and the account details of the suspended customer will be deleted within 30 days of suspension. The suspended customers would be added to the Inactive Customers list and can be viewed under Manage Customers > Inactive

MSP administrators assigned access to suspend customers can suspend Evaluation and Commercial customers directly themselves.

To suspend a customer account

  1. On the inSync MSP Console menu bar, click Customers. The Manage Customers page is displayed.
    On the Manage Customers page, select the customer whose account needs to be suspended.
  2. On the Customer Details page, under Summary, click Suspend.

  3. A message is displayed to confirm if you want to suspend the selected customer. Click Yes to suspend the customer's account.
  4. On the Manage Customers page, under the Inactive tab, the status of the selected customer will change to Suspended.

  5. The Customer Information page displays the License State as Suspended.

Note: The customer account can be kept in the suspended state for up to 30 days only. After 30 days, the customer account details will be deleted. To unsuspend a customer account contact Druva at msp-orders@druva.com.

Suspend customer directly  

An MSP administrator assigned access to create, edit or suspend new customers can suspend existing customers. This access is granted to the MSP when the MSP is created.

Suspend an Evaluation customer

  1. On the inSync MSP Console menu bar, click Customers. The Manage Customers page is displayed.
    On the Manage Customers page, under the Evaluation tab select the customer whose account needs to be suspended.
  2. On the Customer Details page, under Summary, click Suspend.

  3. A message is displayed to confirm if you want to suspend the selected customer. Click Yes to suspend the customer's account.
  4. On the Manage Customers page, under the Inactive tab, the status of the selected customer will change to Suspended.
  5. On the Manage Customers page, under the Inactive tab, the status of the selected customer will change to Suspended. Contact Druva to reactivate the suspended customer.

Suspend a Commercial customer

  1. On the inSync MSP Console menu bar, click Customers. The Manage Customers page is displayed.
    On the Manage Customers page,  under Commercial tab select the customer whose account needs to be suspended.
  2. On the Customer Details page, under Summary, click Suspend. A message is displayed to confirm if you want to suspend the selected customer. Click Yes to suspend the customer's account.
  3. The  Terms and Conditions  window is displayed. Click Accept to create the customer.
  4. The commercial customer will be suspended 
  5. On the Manage Customers page, under the Inactive tab, the status of the selected customer will change to Suspended. Contact Druva to reactivate the suspended customer.
