Upgrade a Customer

Overview

You have to create an upgrade request to convert a customer from evaluation to commercial.
Commercial customers cannot be converted to evaluation customers.
To upgrade a customer from Evaluation to Commercial, the MSP administrator can make the edits but the changes are not displayed immediately. An upgrade request is generated and sent to Druva Support to enable the upgrade.

But if you are an MSP administrator who has access to change the customer type from Evaluation to Commercial directly, you do not have to send an upgrade request to Druva and can make the upgrade directly.

For details about how to edit customer information, see Editing a customer.

To upgrade the customer from Evaluation to Commercial

  1.  On the inSync MSP Console menu bar, click Customers. The Manage Customers page is displayed.
  2. Navigate to Manage Customers > Evaluation. Select the required customer. The selected customer's details are displayed.
