Edit a Customer

Overview

Using the MSP Management Console, the administrator can edit customer details in the MSP Management Console.

MSP administrators assigned access to edit customers, can edit Evaluation and Commercial customers directly themselves.

To edit a customer

  1. On the inSync MSP Console menu bar, navigate to Customers > Manage Customers and select the type of customer (Evaluation or Commercial). Click on the customer name. The selected customer details are displayed.

  1. On the Customer Details page, under Summary, click Edit. The Edit Customer Information page is displayed.

  1. On the Edit Customer Information page, edit the required details (only Organization Name, Phone, Comments and Custom Identifier can be edited) and click Save.
  2. On the Customer Details page, under License & Edition, select the Customer Type from the drop down list.
  • If you select the customer type as Evaluation, the edited information is applied immediately.
  • If you select the customer type as Commercial, then a request with the change details is sent to Druva for approval. Once approved, Druva will upgrade the details for the customer. Once the upgrade for Commercial Customers is done, the administrator can navigate to Customers > Commercial and view the  upgraded customer details.
