Backup Overview page




Overview
This page gives you a complete status of data that Druva inSync is backing up from user devices.
Note: The information displayed is only of active user devices.
Available filters are:
- Profiles: You can select a profile to see its backup overview. By default, All Profiles is selected.
- Storage: You can select a storage to see its backup overview. By default, All Storage is selected.
- Data Sources: You can select a data source to see its backup overview. By default, All Data Sources is selected.
Access path
On inSync Management Console, navigate to Availability > Backup.
Search User
You can search for user information in inSync by typing their user name or email address in the Search box located at the top-right corner of the Backup Overview page.
Backup Summary
The following table lists the fields in the Backup Summary area.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Users | The total number of Druva inSync users. |
Devices | The total number of devices on which Druva inSync is installed and activated. |
Total Backup Data |
The total data that Druva inSync has backed up from all devices till date.

Cloud Apps Enabled | The total number of Cloud Apps accounts that are enabled for backup. |
Backup Statistics
Backup Statistics area provides information on the last backup for the activities occurred on:
- Devices
- Cloud Apps
Backup Statistics area displays the count of devices/cloud app accounts segregated by their last backup status. Select the appropriate entity to view the information on the backup statistics.
The following table lists the fields in the Backup Statistics area.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Backed Up Successfully | The number of Devices/Cloud Apps accounts for which the last backup was successful. |
Backup Failed | The number of Devices/Cloud Apps accounts for which the last backup failed. |
Backed Up With Errors | The number of Devices/Cloud Apps accounts for which the last backup completed with errors. |
Backup Throttled |
The number of Devices/Cloud Apps accounts for which the last backup failed due to throttling errors such as HTTP 429 or 510.

Inactive | The number of Devices/Cloud Apps accounts that are not active. |
Never Backed up | The number of Devices/Cloud Apps accounts that have never been backed up. |
Total Backup Data By Profile
In a graphical representation, the Total Backup Data By Profile area displays the top five profiles in terms of total data stored.
Details
Displays details of the last backup of each Devices/Cloud Apps account of every user. Devices/Cloud Apps accounts are segregated by their last backup status.
The following table describes the tabs in the Details area.
Field | Description |

All Data Sources | The Devices and Cloud Apps accounts that are configured with inSync. You can now initiate backup of Cloud Apps by selecting the cloud app, and then clicking Backup Now. |
Backed Up Successfully | The number of Devices and Cloud Apps accounts for which the last backup was successful. If you want to view a list of all successful backups of a particular Devices/Cloud Apps account for a user, you can view the snapshots for that Devices/Cloud Apps account from the Restore Overview page. For more information, see View snapshots of backup data. |
Backup Failed | The number of Devices and Cloud Apps accounts for which the last backup failed. You can also view a report on failed backups. For more information, see Failed Backups report. |
Backed Up With Errors | The number of Devices and Cloud Apps accounts for which the last backup completed with errors. |
Backup Throttled | The number of Devices and Cloud Apps accounts for which the last backup failed due to throttling errors such as HTTP 429 or 510. |
Inactive | The number of Devices and Cloud Apps accounts that did not communicate with the Druva inSync Server for a specific period or have been deactivated. |
Never Backed Up | The number of Devices and Cloud Apps accounts that were never backed up. |
In case of Cloud Apps, the Status Details field in each tab shows the error message indicating the reason for backup failure. Click the error message to view the error message details and troubleshooting steps.
