As an inSync administrator, you can define the time interval between two consecutive backups that are triggered automatically for Cloud Apps. For example, if you define the backup interval to be 4 hours, inSync triggers the backup for a cloud app 4 hours after the completion of the previous backup. The device that is connected with a Cloud App account must be switched on and connected to inSync Master for scheduled backups to start. If the device is not connected to inSync Master, the AD/LDAP Connector should be in connected state for scheduled backups to work.
Note: You can manage the backup interval through profiles. You cannot do this on an individual user level.
Define the backup interval for Cloud Apps
To define the backup interval
- On the inSync Management Console menu bar, click Profiles.
- Click the profile for which you want to define the backup interval for cloud apps.
- Click Cloud Apps > Schedule & Retention > Edit. The Edit Cloud Apps Configuration window appears.
- In the Backup every list, click the frequency of scheduled backups from Cloud Apps.
- Click Save.
