Disable, enable, delete or backup a cloud app account

Provides instructions to disable, enable, or delete a cloud app account of a user.

Difference between disable and delete

The following table lists the difference between disable and delete.

Disable Disabling a cloud app account stops data backup from that cloud app account. inSync Master retains data that was previously backed up.
Delete Deleting a cloud app account removes the cloud app account from the cloud app list. inSync stops data backup from the deleted cloud app account. inSync also deletes all backup data of that cloud app account.

Disable cloud app accounts

To disable cloud app accounts

  1. On the inSync Management Console menu bar, click Data Sources > Cloud Apps.
  2. Select the cloud app accounts that you want to disable.
  3. Click Disable.

Enable cloud app accounts

Enabling a cloud app account resumes data backup to inSync Master.

To enable cloud app accounts

  1. On the inSync Management Console menu bar, click Data Sources > Cloud Apps.
  2. Select the cloud app accounts that you want to enable.
  3. Click Enable.

Delete cloud app accounts

To delete cloud app accounts

  1. On the inSync Management Console menu bar, click Data Sources > Cloud Apps.
  2. Select the cloud app accounts that you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete.

Backup a Cloud App account

You can use the Backup Now option to immediately start backup of a cloud app account. 

To immediately backup a cloud app account

  1. On the inSync Management Console menu bar, click Data Sources > Cloud Apps.
  2. Select the cloud app accounts that you want to back up.
  3. Click Backup Now.
